Welcome to ThEGG, a membership programme operated by ThEGG ("we", "our", or "us"). By subscribing to or participating in ThEGG, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Membership
ThEGG is a monthly or annual membership designed to provide members with community access, creative support and exclusive benefits.
Membership is personal and non-transferable unless otherwise approved by ThEGG in writing.
We reserve the right to update membership benefits, programmes and privileges from time to time to improve the overall experience.
2. Membership Fees
Monthly Membership: S$69 per month
Membership fees are payable in advance and will renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
Annual memberships are payable upfront.
Membership fees are non-refundable except where required under applicable Singapore law.
3. Member Benefits
Membership may include:
Complimentary kopi or latte during visits to ThEGG (subject to reasonable fair use).
Maintenance support for the member's theZine and/or website within reasonable service limits.
Invitations to member programmes, workshops and community activities.
Access to member networking opportunities.
Annual Members additionally receive:
Up to eight (8) complimentary hours of venue usage annually, subject to availability and advance booking.
Priority access to event planning, content creation and creative support services.
Unused benefits do not carry forward and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Venue Usage
Venue bookings are subject to availability.
Members must leave the premises clean and in good condition.
Members are responsible for the behaviour of their guests.
Any damage caused to furniture, equipment or property may be charged to the member.
ThEGG reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings that may pose safety, legal or operational concerns.
Additional venue hours beyond complimentary usage will be charged at prevailing rates.
5. Events
Where requested, ThEGG may provide event planning, production or content creation services. Separate quotations may apply.
Event timelines depend on availability and confirmation of scope.
We are not responsible for cancellations caused by weather, government regulations, force majeure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Website & theZine Maintenance
Maintenance includes routine updates, content uploads and reasonable technical support.
Major redesigns, custom development, third-party integrations, migration work or emergency recovery services are not included unless separately agreed.
Members remain responsible for maintaining ownership of their domain names, hosting accounts and third-party subscriptions.
We are not liable for outages caused by hosting providers, software vendors or third-party platforms.
7. Member Conduct
Members agree to treat all members, staff and visitors respectfully.
Follow reasonable instructions from ThEGG staff and use facilities safely and responsibly.
Comply with all applicable Singapore laws.
ThEGG may suspend or terminate membership without refund where conduct threatens safety, damages property or disrupts the community.
8. Intellectual Property
Members retain ownership of their own intellectual property.
Any materials, branding, creative assets or content developed by ThEGG remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where services are commissioned separately, ownership and licensing terms will be stated in the relevant quotation or agreement.
9. Photography & Media
Photography or videography may occur during programmes or events.
By attending, members acknowledge they may appear in promotional materials.
If a member does not wish to be photographed or recorded, they should notify our staff before the event and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request.
10. Personal Data Protection
ThEGG is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and guidance issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
We may collect personal information including your name, contact details, billing information, membership records, booking information and communications with us. Your information is collected only for purposes including:
Administering your membership and processing payments.
Managing bookings and providing customer support.
Delivering requested services and improving our programmes.
Complying with legal obligations.
We will not sell your personal data. Where necessary, information may be shared with trusted service providers assisting with payment processing, website hosting, communications or event operations, subject to appropriate safeguards. You may request access to or correction of your personal data by contacting us. You may also withdraw consent where permitted under the PDPA, although doing so may affect our ability to provide membership services.
11. Health & Safety
Members participate in workshops, events and activities at their own risk.
Members should exercise reasonable care and notify staff of any hazards.
ThEGG is not responsible for injuries arising from misuse of facilities, negligence by members or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, ThEGG shall not be liable for loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, indirect or consequential losses, personal property lost, stolen or damaged while on the premises, or failures caused by third-party service providers.
Our total liability for any claim relating to membership shall not exceed the membership fees paid by the member during the preceding twelve (12) months, except where liability cannot be excluded under Singapore law.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, internet outages, labour disputes or other unforeseen circumstances.
14. Cancellation
Members may cancel their membership at any time.
Monthly memberships remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
Annual memberships are non-refundable once activated.
ThEGG reserves the right to terminate membership for breach of these Terms & Conditions.
15. Amendments
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will take effect once published or communicated to members. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
